Q. What Exactly is PeaMail™?

PeaMail™ is a provider of high quality email accounts. Using short and memorable addresses.

Q. What Makes PeaMail™ different from other email service providers?

PeaMail™ only allows addresses with alphabetical characters. No underscores or numbers. Allowing you to own a unique address and reducing the chances of mix up's/lost messages.

Q. How much does a PeaMail™ cost?

The shorter and more memorable your address the higher rate we charge.

A regular 5 character (and longer) name costs £5 per year - james@mmo.to would cost £5 per year.

4 character length names cost £10 per year. 3 character length names cost £15 per year. 2 character length names cost £20 per year. e.g. jo@mmo.to would cost £20 per year - jim@mmo.to would cost £15 per year - john@mmo.to would cost £10 per year.

Q. How does re-billing happen after my first years subscription?

1 month before your subscription is due to end we will contact you to inform you that you need to renew.

Q. Is PeaMail™ webmail based only?

Q. Is it possible to change my own password?

Yes! You can change your PeaMail™ password whenever you please from the options menu inside webmail.

*Tip: We do not keep records of users passwords for privacy reasons. This makes PeaMail™ a very secure and personal system.

Q. If I forget my password, what happens?

When you sign up to PeaMail™ you are sent a welcome email. Included in this email is a 'new password code'. You can use this code on the new password page to generate yourself a new password.

Q. How does PeaMail™ Spam Protection work?

Any message that is sent to our system with the same title more than 7 times has '*****SPAM*****' automatically written into the message title. You can then set up an email filter to move all messages with this value in the title into a spam folder for later review and deletion.

Q. What is the maximum size attachment that I can send?

If you are accessing PeaMail™ using your favorite email software (POP/IMAP/SMTP) then the attachment size is literally unlimited! You can send files as large as you like. However most other receiving email systems have attachment size limits. We recommend keeping attachment sizes to around 5mb for maximum compatibility.

Using PeaMail™ webmail the attachment limit is 5mb per email. You can attach 5 files at 1mb or 1 file at 5mb the choice is yours!

Q. What is the maximum size attachment I can receive?

Using a email program (Outlook/Eudora/Thunderbird) the largest attachment you can receive is 100mb. So long as you have an empty mailbox. If you have 5mb worth of email stored in your mailbox then the maximum attachment size you can receive will be 95mb.

Using PeaMail™ webmail the maximum attachment size is 5mb per email.

*Tip: Attachments get encoded when sent via email. An attachment will always work out slightly larger than the original file. Each file can be up to 20% larger than its original size. E.g. a 10mb file can occupy 12mb.
